Continuous, not occasional

Know what attackers can see

A one-off test is a snapshot. Vulnerability management is the ongoing process of scanning your servers, endpoints, network devices and applications, rating the risk of each finding, and making sure fixes actually happen.

Peritas combines continuous scanning with periodic, deeper vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) and a clear remediation backlog your team can work through.

What's included

  • Asset discovery & scoping
  • Scheduled vulnerability scanning
  • Risk-rated findings
  • Remediation guidance
  • Patch & configuration tracking
  • Re-testing to confirm fixes
  • Management reporting

Our process

The vulnerability management cycle

  1. 01

    Discover

Build an accurate inventory of internet-facing and internal assets.

  2. 02

    Scan & test

Automated scanning plus manual verification to eliminate false positives.

  3. 03

    Prioritise

Rate findings by exploitability and business impact, not just CVSS score.

  4. 04

    Remediate

Clear, practical fix guidance and a tracked remediation backlog.

  5. 05

    Verify

Re-test to confirm vulnerabilities are closed and report progress.

How is vulnerability management different from VAPT?

Vulnerability management is continuous scanning and remediation tracking. VAPT is a scoped, deeper exercise—often including manual penetration testing—performed periodically or before major releases. Most organisations need both.

How often should we scan?

Internet-facing systems should be scanned at least monthly and after significant changes; internal systems at least quarterly. Critical findings should be fixed within agreed timelines.

Do you report false positives?

We combine tool-based testing with manual evaluation so that the findings you receive are verified and actionable.
