The problem
Your business holds more personal data than you think
Customers. Employees. CRM. Websites. Cloud services. Email. Payroll. Service records. The question isn't whether you hold personal data. The question is whether you know where it is and how well it is protected.
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 requires organisations that process digital personal data to protect it with reasonable security safeguards and to handle personal-data breaches properly. The DPDP Rules, 2025 were notified in November 2025 with a phased compliance period of about 18 months—so the time to prepare is now.
