Why it matters
A firewall is only as good as its configuration
Many organisations own capable firewalls that are running outdated firmware, broad 'allow any' rules or unused VPN accounts. Flat networks let a single infected device reach every server.
Peritas reviews, redesigns and manages your network security so that traffic is inspected, access is limited to what each user and system needs, and changes are controlled.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Plain-English answers. Can't find what you need? Our specialists are a call away.
How often should firewall rules be reviewed?
At least every six months, and after any major change such as a new branch, application or remote-access requirement. Our reviews remove unused rules and tighten overly broad access.
Do we still need a VPN if we use cloud applications?
Often yes, for access to on-premises systems. For many use cases ZTNA provides more granular and more secure access than a traditional VPN.
Can you manage our firewall for us?
Yes—see Managed Network, which covers firewall, Wi-Fi, VPN and switching.
Let's talk
Is your network configured for today's threats?
Our network security review covers firewall rules, remote access, Wi-Fi and segmentation.
