FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Plain-English answers. Can't find what you need? Our specialists are a call away.
What is DLP and do we need it?
Data loss prevention monitors and controls how sensitive data moves—by email, USB, web upload or cloud apps. It is valuable for any organisation that handles customer personal data, financial records or confidential designs.
Does encryption alone make us DPDP compliant?
No single control does. Encryption is an important safeguard, but DPDP readiness also requires access control, monitoring, breach response and governance. Peritas services support technology readiness; they are not legal advice.
Where do we start?
Start with discovery: know where personal data is stored and who can access it. Our DPDP Gap Assessment includes data and asset discovery.
